Fairy Parade (Saturdays @ 1:00 PM in April and May)
I can't get over how absolutely adorable this FREE activity is. As an outside observer, all I could think was, 'I have to get my daughter here soon, she would LOVE this!'
Every Saturday at 1:00 PM in April and May, you and your children are invited to march in this enchanting parade, led by these two beauties of Spoiled Rotten Children's Boutique--the Summer Fairy and the Autumn Fairy.
Whether you come dressed in your fairy best or not, you're invited to join in this whimsical walk. You'll love the many stops.
See what kind of wonder awaits along the Gardner Village water.
New this year, the magical Wishing Bridge is your chance to tell the fairies what your heart desires as you tie a ribbon and make your wish. We'll have more on this sweet spot in a future blog post, so be sure you come back by.
There is so much to see at our Woodland Fairy display in the main courtyard of The Village. We're going to give you a more in-depth look in a future post, so make sure you check back or visit during the next week. But here's a taste of the cuteness!
Kids will enjoy spirited games along the way (time permitting).
With the wave of their wands, the Summer and Autumn fairies make each parade participant official Gardner Village fairies to conclude the fun.
Plan on about a 30-45 minute march throughout The Village. Of course, you can always step out early if other woodland wonders call.
Want to dress the part for the Fairy Parade? We've got you covered. Find fairy wings, tutus, and wants inside Spoiled Rotten, Lulu's Boutique and Storybook Nook.
And don't forget to get your fairy face on. There is $5 face painting outside of Spoiled Rotten on Saturdays. Face painting provided by Emily Engh of Artsee Entertainment.
And you can get Fairy Kiss Kits in Georgell Doll Shop, which include fairy glitter and bitty star wands, just right for adding a little pixie sparkle to your skin.
Speaking of fairy fashion, my hat goes off to this father, who made the neatest fairy outfits for each of his four young children (two girls and two boys), including this awesome elf hat he made for his sweet baby. It's so fun to visit Gardner Village this time of year and see how people get into the sprite spirit!

And the friendly fairy staff is always happy to help, even if you've never before created a custom piece.
Fairy Garden Class at Aunt Elsie's
Now's your chance to bring the fairy magic home with you. This class will help you put together the perfect fairy garden display or gnome home.
There are plenty of petite garden options available at Aunt Elsie's, so even if you aren't able to attend the class, you can create a lovely fairy scene.
Once you've caught the fairy fever, you can continue to grow your personal garden with additional options available at Lulu's Boutique and Celebrations by Modern Display.
Spot the Unicorn
During the Saturday Fairy Parades, you'll want to keep your magic finder set to high. An actual unicorn has been known to join in the fun.
This mythical creature loves meeting fellow creatures, kiddos, and adults. Talk about a cool photo opp!
During this time of year, you're going to find fairy fancies in just about every Gardner Village shop you visit. Here are just a few of the fun items available:
Score giant Fairy Dust Pixie Sticks and chocolate unicorn and fairy lollipops at the Chocolate Covered Wagon.
Storybook Nook has Unicorn Poppers, stuffed unicorns and plenty of fairy storybooks. This is such a sweet store for finding unique gifts, toys and books.
Fairy House Tour at Georgell Doll Shop
Come inside Georgell Doll Shop to get an up-close look at how woodland fairies live. From where they dine and how they travel, to where they go to play music and enjoy a cup of tea can all be viewed on this tour of tiny houses. We'll share more on this in a future post. In the meantime, you'll definitely want to visit Georgell and see these exquisite displays for yourself. (Photos just don't do them justice.) Entry: $3
