What a month it has been! We've counted corns, done a little witchin' fishin', and whipped up a recipe or two with our wild witches. It's hard to believe our Witchy Wins-days are already coming to a close. But, before our witches fly off for another season, we have one more bit o' witch trivia for you. And one more Witchy Wins-day giveaway. How does $40 to Archibald's Restaurant sound? Mmmm...mmm...good!
Question: Can you match the witch with her shoes?
The names of our cackling cuties (in this pic) are:
Simply leave a comment matching the number above with the letter of the shoe you think it goes with. Ex. 1/A, 2/D, etc. You can either do this in the comments section of this post (no annonymous comments, please; include your name if you aren't logged in), or you can email your guesses to firstname.lastname@example.org (Which Witch in the subject line). We'll randomly select a winner from the correct guesses received (or closest guesses). You have until Monday, Nov. 2 to enter. On Wednesday, Nov. 4, we'll announce the winner of our $40 gift certificate to Archibald's Restaurant. Yum!
Speaking of Winners...
We want to congratulate the winner of last week's Ingredient Guessing Game. But first, let's take a look at the correct answers. Here are just a few of the things our Gardner Village Gals use in their bruja brews:
Chocolate isn't the only thing you'll find at the Chocolate Covered Wagon.
No, the beading tools at The Bead Farm are NOT meant for this purpose. Silly witches!
Sweet baby ducks aren't the only critters found in the Gardner Village waters.
Hair of Bear--Yowza!
Good thing he's of the teddy variety.
Did your guess make the list? Well, even if it didn't, you're qualified. We're delighted to congratulate Teri Bylund! You're the winner of four Six Hags tickets.
"My guess is ground up"Frogs Feet" ooooh Yum! I love Witchopolooza it's Great! I hope to win!"--Teri Bylund
Please email email@example.com (blog winner in the subject line) for details on claiming your prize. And please do so quickly, as you only have now through Halloween 2015 to use your prize.
Alas, the time has come to wish our witches well for another year. They have brooms to catch.
But before they take to the sky...
...let's take a look back at some of the fun had this month.
From photo ops with Village friends...
and whipping up tasty potions...
to a little "friendly" competition on the lawn...
and simply hanging around the shops...
this witch business is tiring work...
But boy is it fun! We've loved celebrating WitchFest 2015 with you! Thanks for making it another year to remember.
See you next year, witchy women!
