Free Fairy Party Download + Tea Party Giveaway + DIY Party Decor

Welcome back to our high tea highlights, friends! Last week, we shared a look inside the Dolly & Me Fairy Garden Tea at Georgell Doll Shop at Gardner Village. Such whimsical fun was had by all!

This week, we have details on a second delightful option offered by Georgell Doll Shop that may interest you—renting their patio space for your own private party.

The space is river-lined and flower-filled, making an absolutely beautiful setting for any gathering!

Yes, all of this gorgeous space can be yours, including the incredibly detailed, handmade fairy-house display, the tables and chairs, and space to set up your party elements.

Wanting to add my own creative touches to my daughter's third birthday party, I knew this was just the approach for me. And the outcome was nothing short of enchanting! Here's a look at a few of the pieces I brought in to make the fairy atmosphere my own.

Party Play
We were celebrating in a magical garden, so it only seemed appropriate to create a little of our own magic for my little guests to take home. Thus, I created these Fairy Garden Kits.

I filled gable boxes with artificial flowers, rocks, wood slices, a platter, and, of course, a small wood house, just right for a fairy. I picked up most of these items at a local craft store. Some things were purchased at my neighborhood dollar store. The shops at Gardner Village even have a thing or two. Try Georgell Doll Shop, Aunt Elsie's, The Bead Farm and Lulu's Boutique.

I used little bags to separate the various garden elements, making it easy for the youngsters to pick and choose what they wanted.

I also provided acrylic paint so each child could paint their own wood house. They had so much fun with this!

I brought soil and moss so children could pick the base they wanted for their forest oasis. The result was a fun hour of crafting and a bunch of darling gardens that some lucky fairies will ultimately be able to call home.

Party Favors
Wanting to show my appreciation to both the children and their moms for attending, I created a few fairy-inspired party favors.

First, I used a butterfly-shaped paper punch to cut butterflies from self-adhesive glitter paper. I then attached them to small kraft notebooks. To finish the design, I tied on twig pencils, which I purchased online. It was such a fun and fast way to give the moms a little garden gift.

I also gave my moms small succulents, complete with a Gardner Village fairy garden pick (free!). More on that freebie soon. :)

For the kiddos, I bagged up rock candy fairy crystals and gummy butterflies.

I wrote the following little note from my daughter on each bag's tag:
Just fluttering by to thank you for helping make my birthday sparkle. Love, Maggie

And what would a fairy party be without a little magic pixie dust from Georgell Doll Shop? You can buy all colors of this magical glitter while you're there.

Fairy Decor
Wanting to personalize the beautiful patio space (not really necessary, as it's lovely all on its own), my husband and I created a few pieces. Yes, I got my Mr. in on the act. I'm all for help where I can find it. ;)

To spell M-A-G-G-I-E out of flowers, my husband took the fronts off of paper mache letters. He then spray painted the letters and cut floral foam to fill each.

With the letters painted, filled, and ready to go, I then added the artificial flowers. It was so easy. They just poked right in! (Thanks for doing the hard parts, hon!)

For the "She is 3!" wreath, I simply stuck a few artificial flowers in a twig wreath. I then used rub-ons and chipboard banners pieces to spell out the sentiment.

Both of these projects came together quickly. Yay!

Great for Birthdays
Celebrating those summer birthdays can be extra special on this lovely, fairy-lined patio. Even if you simply gather to enjoy some treats and open presents, forgoing all of the other extras, you're sure to have an amazing time. It's just nice to know that they let you make what you want of your unique experience.
