A Few Fun Fairy Facts
1. Fairies are quite shy. To spot one is a rare and wonderful treat!
Look! Just beyond that toadstool shrub. It's a fairy in hiding!
2. Every time a new baby laughs for the first time, a fairy is born. No wonder they're so magical!
3. The Gardner Village Woodland Fairies and glen took more than 240 hours to construct. In other words, A LOT of love went into making this a memorable experience for you. A special thanks to Careen Densley, Wayne VanValkenberg, and Debbie Sampson for their tireless effort and dedication to creating our Village fairy glen.
This is Careen Densley. She's the talented and imaginitive individual who designed the details of the main Village fairy display.
Each impressive fairy building in the main Village glen was created by Wayne VanValkenberg. What talent!
4. The Woodland Fairies in our main glen have hand sculpted faces, and their wings alone took 45 minutes each to create.

The Village fairy glen isn't the only place to spot a bit of fairy fantasy. As we mentioned, they're also at Georgell's, as well as other shops throughout The Village.
Check out this awesome, handmade fairy hotel, complete with a fairy swimming pool (designed by Bill Alder of Posh Peddler). Wow!
Don't take my word for it. As I was snapping shots for today's blog, young Village visitors stopped in their tracks to witness the whimsy. I loved watching their faces light up as they spotted each of the delicate details to be enjoyed.
