Archibald's Restaurant - Known For Their Unique Appetizers
If you've ever dined at Archibald's at Gardner Village, you'll know that their appetizers are unlike other restaurants in the area. Below are just a few of the one-of-a-kind appetizers you will find when dining here:
Fried Green Tomatoes
One of the most popular appetizers, these juicy green tomatoes are breaded and fried to golden brown. They come served with Archibald's own creamy salsa. (TIP: One of our past blog entries has a recipe for Fried Green Tomatoes from Archibald's!)
These thick avocado slices are also breaded and deep fried, and come served with creamy salsa.
With this appetizer, a whole onion is breaded and fried to golden brown. It comes served with their famous salsa ranch.
Artichoke & Spinach Dip
A blend of artichoke hearts, spinach and yellow onion, in a creamy cheese sauce. Served with garlic toast and tortilla chips.
Other popular appetizers at Archibald's include shrimp cocktail, mozzarella cheese sticks, chicken quesadilla, onion rings and chips and salsa. If you can't decide on which appetizer to get, they also have their Sampler Plate, which includes a combination of fried green tomatoes, breaded avocados, housemade onion rings and mozzarella cheese sticks, all served with specialty sauces. If you're having a hard time deciding between breaded avocados and fried green tomatoes, the Half & Half Combo Plate has both.
You can find all of their menu items, as well as dining hours, on our website.
