  4. This painting literally depicts the picture-perfect image of Gardner Village at this time of year. The Village is beautifully decorated with festive pumpkins, witchy witches, and this painting captures all of that in detail; even right down to the festive-dressed shoppers strolling about! It accurately portrays how a lot of the witches are posed throughout the village, and the over color is spectacular! :)

  25. I love Eric Dowdle's WitchFest painting-turned-puzzle of Gardner Village! His attention to detail makes the puzzle even more fun to do and reminds me how much I enjoy strolling through the shops every fall when the "witches are out" to try to find each one! I always like to eat at Archibald's during my trip to Gardner Village or at least grab a treat at Naborhood Bakery! My husband can't ever resist the fudge at Sweet Afton's. This puzzle is a fun reminder about how much of a true fall experience the WitchFest is every year at Gardner Village!

  27. I really love how the artist captured the whole essence of Halloween at Gardener Village. You can almost hear the cackling of the witches as you walk along the cobblestone path in the crisp night air. The bright fall colors and hauntingly cute jack-o lanterns bring out the magic of "witches night out". He also depicted the cozy glow of the windows in the quaint shops perfectly. It completely portrays the bewitchingly good time that is had a Gardener Village at Halloween time, and I can't wait! Thanks for the fun times! Danielle Johnson

  44. I have no idea when Eric Dowdle captured this image of the Great Gardner Village WitchFest. Last year as I was arriving to once again renew my friendship bonds with all my friends,I misjudged what I thought would be my most eloquent landing ever, and BAM, there I found myself plastered up against the grain tower. I am now only truly horrified to see that my backside has been put on display for the world to see. How will I ever live this down! Oh I know, to be picked for this magnificent giveaway. hehehehe - Pam Pontius

  45. Our favorite thing about this painting is the three witches stirring the cauldron of witches brew. Every year my kids run like crazy little witches trying to find the witch stirring the cauldron, while we do the scavenger hunt, so they were excited that it made it into the painting. -Jen Porter

  49. I just love Gardner Village! I have been going with my grandmother and my 6 children to witchfest for many years now. I have pictures of my kids pointing and laughing at the witch riding her bike or posing by the witch in the out house (that is their favorite)!! My grandmother passed away from breast cancer 3 years ago this month. She truly loved Gardner Village. Everytime we go there now, we feel her presence. She just loved Witchfest and Gardner Village this time of year. Dowdle's painting captures all the feelings and memories we have of attending Witchfest with my grandmother. The happy carefree days of enjoying a good laugh and trying to find all the witches is wonderfully depicted in his painting! Thank you for preserving a wonderful memory. Amanda O'Camb

  55. My reasons for loving Eric Dowdle’s new painting are threefold: (1) Gardner Village Witchfest has been a wonderful tradition with my Mother and I over the years. I hope to continue that tradition with my brand new daughter; (2) I am a fan of Eric Dowdle’s work. When I first saw his painting, “Salt Lake City,” I was impressed with his attention to detail from the figures walking down the street to the windows and bricks on the buildings; and, (3) My late grandmother loved puzzles. She spent hours putting together hundreds of puzzles and she always let me help her when I was a little girl. So, I think owning a puzzle of Dowdle’s latest piece, “Gardner Village Witchfest,” would be a perfect gift! -Heather Armstrong
