Lunchlady Peanut Butter Bars

Mmmm this is one DELICIOUS treat! Lunchlady peanut butter bars are soo good!

They are definitely one of our favorites at Gardner Village.

Here's the recipe!

3/4 c. butter softened
3/4 c. creamy peanut butter
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. packed brown sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. water
1-1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1-1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1-1/2 c. quick-cooking oats
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt

1-1/4 c. milk chocolate chips
1/2 c. butterscotch chips
1/2 c. creamy peanut buter

In a large bowl, cream the butter, peanut butter and sugars until light and fluffy, about 4 minutes. Beat in the eggs, water and vanilla. Combine the flour, oats, baking soda and salt, gradually add to creamed mixture and mix well.
Spread into a greased 15" x 10" x 1" baking pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 18 to 22 minutes or until lightly browned. For glaze, in a microwave, melt chips and peanut butter, stir until smoother. Pour over warm bars, spread evenly. Cool completely on a wire rack before cutting. Yield: 4 dozen. Enjoy!
