Gardening Tips from Aunt Elsie's

Isn't May a wonderful time of year?

Denise, owner of Aunt Elsie's at Gardner Village, shared some great yard and garden ideas we wanted to tell you about!

How do you feel about birdhouses?

Charming, simple, and inviting to birds!
They'll keep harmful insects out of your garden.

Having ant problems?
Mix equal amounts of water and white vinegar and spray where they're not welcome.

Ever found aphids on your roses?

Clean them off by mixing 2 tbs of dish soap with 1 gal of water and spraying the leaves until soaked.
Wait 15 minutes and rinse with water.

Aunt Elsie's also has darling signs and art for
your home and yard!

Have any unwelcome bunnies in your yard?

If rabbits are making a meal of your garden, use vinegar soaked rags around vegetables to keep them and other four-legged creatures away.

Resoak every 7-10 days.

And to celebrate Mother's Day this May...

The first three customers at Aunt Elsie's get a FREE piece of yard art when they mention this post!
