2012: A Year in Review

It’s the last day of 2012, and we are feeling a little sentimental. It’s been such a great year, and we wanted to share a few of the highlights:

We held some new events- Friday Night Fever in April, where hundreds of people danced and shopped the night away in disco-themed attire.

We hosted the Wasatch Front Farmers Market from June through October on Saturdays. Both will be back for 2013! Yay!

We helped raise more than $1550 dollars for the Fisher House in Salt Lake. We’ll be participating in that fundraiser again for a whole month in 2013. Look for it in June.

We welcomed three new stores: Spoiled Rotten Children’s Boutique, Plum Dandy and Vintage Chic to the Village family.

We hosted a flash mob with 500 zombie dancers from around the valley, dancing to the tune of Michael Jackson's "Thriller" in October.

We had a spectacular WitchFest this year! Withcapalooza and Breakfast with a Witch sold out in September; We held TWO weekends of Witches Night Out this year.

And along with FM 100.3, we were able to help raise more than $2600 for the Susan G. Komen Foundation For the Cure .

We remodeled the lobby of Country Furniture and Archibald’s. Have you seen it? We also started the remodel for Pine Needles new store. They're moving to a larger location within the Village and will now have enough space to host classes too.

It’s been a wonderful year, and we’re thankful for all of the people who have been a part of it. We’re excited for all the good things the new year will bring!

We hope you have a happy and safe new year!
