Join Lori Allred at The Bead Farm

If you're like me, you love spending time with your girlfriends and being creative. One of my favorite places to take my friends is The Bead Farm here at Gardner Village. And I'm not talking about just shopping...how about a free class of sorts.

First grab a few of your favorite people and head to Gardner Village in West Jordan.

Then give The Bead Farm a call. You can reserve your "Table Time" by calling ahead (801.938.1995) and scheduling a two-hour block of time. Keep in mind the village typically closes at 8:00 pm, so you'll want to plan on being there to shop your favorite stores and of course eat at the yummy Archibald's Restaurant. The cost for table time is free if you buy the supplies to make your projects at the store (or a minimum fee if you bring your own supplies). The store is set up to cater to smaller groups of no more than six ladies.

Callie, the shop owner, typically suggests projects depending on your groups' skill level. I know from experience that in the beginning, it's best if you all do the same type of project. But now that we're seasoned pros, we don't always pick the same project. But this night, I had no idea what I wanted to create, so I wandered around the shop until I found this darling blue blingy bracelet (upper left corner of photo) and decided I had to have it in diamond and black bling!

But the best part of The Bead Farm, of course, is Callie and her mom. They're so patient with us and make it so fun to hang out and just laugh! We feel like part of the family and enjoy our time at their shop!

So if you're looking for a fun time with girlfriends or family, while making your holiday gifts and you're in Utah (or visiting), then be sure to visit The Bead Farm.

Lori Allred is a giant Gardner Village fan and blogger over at allreddesign.net. You might have caught her first post about The Bead Farm back when they started the shop in a different location, if not read about it here. You can also catch Lori every Thursday on her weekly web show called Inspired by Pinterest over on My Craft Channel

  2. You can really bring up to 10 people if you would like just let The Bead Farm know that it is a larger group when you call. :)
