Cooking with Lucinda the Witch

This weekend Lucinda the Witch had the chance to share some of her scariest (and yummiest) recipes with the ladies at KUTV Channel 2 News. If you missed it, you can watch it here

And she shared one of her recipes with us!

Monster Ear Swabs

1.  Melt 1 package of white chocolate chips or almond bark in microwave until smooth.

2.  Cut 2 large marshmallows in half.  On each side of the cookie stick you need to place, a half of the marshmallow, then a whole, and then another half in that order.

3.  Dip each end in the white melted chocolate; swirl around until it looks like an ear swab.

4.  Let chocolate set up until firm.

5.  Dip each end into apricot preserves; serve to your Halloween guests.

Happy Halloween!

Feature: Mom It Forward

We are excited to share with our followers one of our favorite sites for daily inspiration, ideas and so much more.

Mom It Forward ™ is a social media community and worldwide network dedicated to enhancing the lives of women, their families, and the communities in which they live. It began in 2008 when co-founder Jyl Johnson Pattee transformed her widely popular “Girls’ Night Out” (#gno™) Twitter parties into a weekly event with purpose. The Twitter parties quickly developed into a community of women at momitforward.com where they could further connect, share information, and make an impact.

We love it when Gardner Village is featured on the Mom It Forward website. Here's the most recent Gardner Village Features we found recently on their site.

Quilt Care Cleaning Instructions The life of your quilt will directly correspond to the amount of use and frequency of cleaning. Your quilt is made to use and last. However, heavy use and frequent cleaning will accelerate the aging process. The Quilt Shop can help you with tips about quilt cleaning and quilt care instructions.
